2010-11: Thoman wrestled to an 11-6 record at 184 pounds while redshirting his first season with the Cowboy program. He collected two pins and one technical fall.
Thoman opened the season with a fourth-place finish at the Northwest Open and claimed second at the Cowboy Open with a combined 6-3 mark, but did not place at the Kaufman-Brand Open. He finished his season by placing second at the UNK Loper Open.
High School: Thoman is a three-time state place winner for Green River High School at the Wyoming 4A Tournament. As a senior, Thoman was runner-up at 189 pounds. He also placed third during his junior year in the 171-pound weight class and fifth as a sophomore at 152.
Personal: Tommy's birthdate is Feb. 28, 1992 and he is the youngest of three children of Dick and Sue Thoman. He has one brother, Ben, and two sisters, Dixie Thoman and Josette Polk. Tommy is an electrical engineering major at the University of Wyoming.
